This has reached a fever pitch in regards to having tournaments that determine a winner that heads to eventually to the nationals that are held every year. Here they crown a world champion.

When a major sports network films segments that they use for specials, then you know that you are in the big leagues.
When it is all said and done, there can only be one true winner, the player that is able to out move and outwit their opponents will be rewarded with the game console and if it is a national event a trip to the next round of playoffs. This is where things become tougher and the stakes are higher. This if you are lucky will lead to a trip to the nationals, and possibly to the world finals. All of this as a result will lead a person if they are success ful to having success in these tournaments and making it to being the world champ. This is not a bad way to gain popularity when playing Video game madden tournaments.
